It should just be part of the mounting process. I also have a comment abouot the rear entry boot. I had a pair once and I hated them. I could never adjust them properly and I have gone back to standard buckle type boots and am much happier. The ski shop I deal with is dead set against rear entry boots for anyone and in fact no longer even carries them. I have heard the bit about women using rear entries and I think that some shops may try to sell them to women on some basis rather than skiing effeciency. One last thought; if skis should be specially balanced for women, why not for children, then male and female children. How about older men? Go to another ski shop that you hear good things about and get a second opinion. Also, I don't know from wich part of the country you hail. Maybee this new piece of ski engineering technology has just not gottebn (that's arrived) back here in the east. Jim Hogan
