Subj: Ski Poles

Is there any Ski Mountaineers out there? I'm thinking about buying some
avalanche probe ski poles. I don't know if I should buy twist lock poles
or push botton. I heard that the twist lock poles tend to slip. Is this
true? What do you recommend.

I'm also looking for anyone who has stayed at the Sierra Hut in Mt. Baldy,
California during the winter. How crowded does it get? Do you follow the
same route during the winter as you do during the summer?
