Sounds like it was a while since you were in Nepal...the hippies are
long gone and Freak Street's pie shops with them.

I've made three trips to Nepal; to the Annapurna Sanctuary, Everest
Base camp and to Gokyo Lakes high up in the Khumbu. Love the place
and find I have to keep going back! I really like going over
Christmas when its quieter although very cold! Some great new areas
are opening up, particularly Dolpo and the Kanchenjunga regions.

I went to India for the first time this summer and did my first
20,000ft'er - great experience! India is absolutely fascinating and
Ladakh a minature Tibet.
