Subj: Mount Shasta

I am thinking about climbing Mt Shasta in approx 4 weeks during the next
full moon.

What can you tell me about this climb/hike? What equipment should I need?
What will the weather be like this time of year at the top? Is there a
serious ice cap this year? Do I need crampons? What would be a good
camp location/elevation for the approach?

Does anyone know where I can get crampons for my eight year old?
