Hey! Whadda ya know? It's alive! Even better, I figured out how to send a
message, etc. Nothing like problem solving. I want to thank Dave Wilson, Joel
Chasse. and Denise Kayada for replying. I also received a message saying
"Undeliverable" from Rahband at Sunergen who apparently used CompuServe. So,
if I am correct in assuming Rahband is a person, thanks for trying. My

As I wrote, my son is the mountain climber. His next effort is one or more
mountains in Ecuador, so if anyone on the list has done this or has
suggestions, please send replies to me. He too is on AOL and I feel sure it
won't be but a few days (he's skiing in Utah) before he subscribes to the
list. He and his son (who is now in England) are thinking about the
Matterhorn this summer. Any comments?

So, thanks for all your suggestions..I'm forwarding them to my son and will
write how to get on this list. Satisfy my curiosity: the list address ends in
" .tr "; does this mean Turkey?
